Richard Scary's Busy, Busy Weekend

I just had a very surprising weekend. On Saturday, I worked from 6 to 4:15 and still had things left to do. Somehow, I felt as though I was faster each individual task yet was still way too slow in the long run. I was supposed to leave by 2 and someone who is experienced would have been able to leave by 12:30 because we only need to prep half as much on the weekends compared to the weekdays and the time slot is the same Monday through Friday as it is on the weekend. After the 10 hours of work and having woken up at 4:30, I babysit from 4:30 PM to 9 and thankfully, I get to borrow my mom's car to get home. The next surprise is that, when I arrive at work after church on Sunday, the manager says to me, "You did a good job yesterday". Apparently he only had to prep two small things... Go figure. After all the stressing and not being able to sleep Saturday night for the worry I had about how I left things, it had worked out. The next surprise was that I was able to leave 15 minutes early yesterday after completing everything on my list. Today and tomorrow, I get a chance to recuperate and then do it all again. It takes me a while to sleep it off sometimes.
