Sunday in St. Laurent des Hommes*

Today was a nice relaxing Sunday. I went on 3 long walks today to explore the new place. It's all countryside here. The town is a single intersection with a post office, one small restaurant, a tiny epicerie, a boulangerie and a couple of places to get your hair cut. So I got to walk through the woods around a pond, walk out of town in three different directions. You only have to walk 5 minutes or less to leave town. This week, I will be weeding a ton but I can make my own schedule as long as I put in 5 hours a day. (That's an all encompassing rule for Workaway hosts is that they shouldn't make anyone work more than 5 hours a day.) So the plan is to time myself and when I get sore, I'll take a 20 or 30 minute break.
*Mussidan (in yesterday's title) was one of two close towns with a train station and now I am in St. Laurent des Hommes. This region of France has many low populous towns with no easy access to trains (unless, of course, you have a car).
