Trip to Mussidan

So, I had a fun day overall today but got a crazy surprise when I discovered what I thought was just 2 short train rides away turned out to be 3. Just to go 10 km (75 mi). It wasn't bad, but I almost thought something had gone awry when on the second train the town I wanted wasn't listed. With a brief French question I was able to sort it out quickly and all went well, but three trains. At the first stop, I went into the tiny town and bought some bread. I got a good loaf for my coulommiers cheese and a supper crunchy bread with figs in it.

Now I'm at the new workaway and it will be mostly weeding and watering plants this week. This place has some great eccentric charm and one or two questionable eccentricities. Some things may have seemed like a good idea in theory but in practice it's just a bit impractical. Anyway, it's past time for me to go to bed. It's 1:00 am here.
