A Day of Rest

After yesterday, I didn't feel much like moving today. My shoulders got sore from the pack and I was just yawning all day even with a couple cups of fresh coffee. I did get to visit une marche en plein air which was pretty fun. It's a farmers market but a bit more impressive because some people are cooking with enormous pans that must have been at least 3 ft in diameter and those who weren't cooking had a set-up I haven't seen in farmers markets in the US. It's seems as if they fit refrigerated display cases into food-trucks that have siding which can be pulled out of place. I don't know how else to describe it...
Anyway, I got to pull out a new word for a conversation today...well I had picked it up in a Paris maybe 10 days ago; "agrume"- citrus.

One of the things I'm enjoying the most is a benefit of being so close to Italy. They sell Tiramisu in pudding sized containers over here! One time I did get a big container to share but typically they come in packs of 4, each one being a reasonable serving. It's risky buying a big one because you might just eat the whole thing in one sitting. Which isn't necessarily a problem unless you already overate during dinner and you're feeling the uncomfortable fullness we typically reserve for Holidays involving feasts.
